Pretty pouches

For an early Christmas present, my parents decided to give me a sewing machine since I've taken it up as a hobby recently. The funny thing is that no one in my family knows how to use one so I had to get lessons from a family friend.

These little crafts are the result of my one hour training from last week. The three largest ones I made today and the smallest one was made during my lesson. All four are pouches and the strips of fabric that you see on the three biggest ones shows what the inside fabric looks like.

All fabric was purchased from JoAnn Fabrics and everything was sewed on a Singer Tradition sewing machine. I used 100% cotton and cotton lining for the inside.

Total time of all the projects was about two hours.

Kimono Girl Zippered Pouch: 9.5" x 7"

Grey Sakura Pouch: 8" x 8"

Purple Sakura Pouch: 7.5" x 7.25"

Green & White Zippered Pouch: 4.25" x 4.5"
